The day started with the boring induction programme. Almost fell asleep. I then proceeded to my department to meet my supervisor. My supervisor was shocked to say the least when I introduced myself and told her I was attached to be her doggie for 6mths. She was not informed and wasn't expecting anyone for attachment. But she was nice enough to explain the details of the department and let me choose which one I wanted to specialise in. But honestly I had no clue what I wanted so I told her to send me to the easiest one to learn the ropes.
I was attached to someone who also graduated from NTU so at least I was more at ease. My lunch clique consist of a bunch of dudes who also graduated from NTU. One thing to note, the whole bunch of them look pretty sloppy and slack. Their office attire was horrendous and I must say I look the most professionally dressed in the whole department. I also saw my JC fren working there so at least I had someone to talk cock to. Otherwise I spend the whole afternoon staring at a bunch of papers pretending to do something but in fact day dreaming.
Glad to announce that the takraw team is through to the semis next week. I felt that today's win was pretty heart pumping becoz we came from behind down to win it overall. I like to think that the match winning point that my set scored courtesy of my last ditch save was the coolest play of the day. Well done Parry!
