Tmr is the big day I suppose. The start of a two weeks ICT. But screw it, I ain't going back. I have already ranted everything about the reservist policy so I shall not elaborate further. I like to live life without regrets, but honestly, serving the army was my biggest regret. I have already long paid my dues to the nation and sadly speaking, the nation has failed me miserably.

Since the Commanding Officer has rejected my deferment, even with my valid reasons, I see no point in showing him anymore respect. Being denied the opportunity to take up modules or attachment work due to ICT commitments is a disgrace to the men who gave 2 yrs of their precious youth to their country. We live in sad times I guess. I would like to remind the CO and Mindef that their existence and reason why they can put on so many flashy ranks on their shoulders is because of the general public like us, studying and working in public/private sectors, so that we can pay taxes to feed these ungrateful son of bitches. As far as I am concerned, the top management making the ridiculous decisions should be castrated.
